Discovery session

Figure out what you're actually building.

One focused session, 75 minutes, on a video call. You bring the idea, the half-built thing, or just the itch. You leave with a clear first step, a scope you can afford, and an honest read of where you actually are.

Who it's for

You have energy. You don't have clarity.

You have an idea, maybe three, and you keep circling them instead of starting. What you're missing isn't motivation, it's a decision.

You started building, with AI or no-code or by hand, and it grew in every direction except the one that matters. You need someone to help you cut.

You're about to spend real money, on a developer, an agency, or months of your own time, and you want a second brain on the decision before you do.

What we do

Five exercises. One sitting.

This isn't a chat. It's a working session with a structure I run every time, because the structure is what finds the answer.

1

The idea autopsy

You explain the idea like I'm a customer, not an investor. I ask the questions a customer would ask. Most ideas change shape in the first fifteen minutes of this, and that's the point.

2

One sentence, one person

We compress the idea into a single sentence aimed at a single, specific person you can name or describe. If we can't, that's the finding, and it tells us exactly what to figure out first.

3

The riskiest assumption

Every idea rests on one belief that kills it if wrong. We find yours and design the cheapest possible way to test it, usually without writing any code.

4

Build, buy, or wait

An honest look at what version one actually requires. Sometimes it's a weekend of no-code. Sometimes it's a real build. Sometimes the right answer is don't build yet, and I'll say so.

5

The 90-day plan

We end with a written plan: the next three moves, in order, sized to the hours and money you actually have. Not a roadmap fantasy, a plan for your real life.

What you leave with

A one-page brief, written down.

  • Your idea in one sentence, aimed at one person
  • The riskiest assumption and the cheapest test for it
  • A build, buy, or wait call with my reasoning
  • Your next three moves, in order, sized to your real hours and budget
  • A recording of the session, so you can rewatch instead of taking notes

Why $120

Cheaper than three months of building the wrong thing.

A developer building the wrong version one for a month costs thousands. Your own time, spent circling a decision for another quarter, costs more than either.

The session is priced so the decision to book it is easy, and honest enough that sometimes the outcome is me telling you not to hire me. That happens, and the people it happens to come back later with something better.

Book your session.

Message me on WhatsApp with a sentence or two about your idea. We'll find a time within the week.
