Rocksalt helps founders and executives build their personal brands by automating content creation and identifying relevant conversations across LinkedIn, Reddit, and Slack. The platform uses a customized AI persona to draft posts in your voice and guides you to engage strategically with your target audience, turning online visibility into measurable inbound pipeline.

New Orleans artists marketplace

Where Y'Art Works is a marketplace connecting New Orleans artists with collectors, galleries, and licensing partners. I've helped build features and maintain the platform, working across the Laravel codebase on new functionality, ongoing improvements, and the day-to-day reliability of a live marketplace with real artists, real orders, and real customers depending on it.

International contemporary art gallery in Zurich

Mai 36 Galerie is a Zurich-based contemporary art gallery representing established and emerging artists across diverse mediums. The site showcases paintings, sculptures, photography, and installations alongside an active exhibition schedule and the gallery's participation in major international art fairs.

A Silicon Valley attempt at a Twitter alternative

T2, later renamed Pebble, was a Silicon Valley startup that launched in the wake of Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter. I helped build the platform for a year, from November 2022 to October 2023, working on a Golang backend alongside engineers from Google and Discord.

Estate site for the American conceptual artist

The official site for the estate of Sarah Charlesworth, the American conceptual artist known for her work across the Pictures Generation. I've helped build features and maintain the site, supporting the estate as it presents her catalog, exhibitions, and writing to curators, collectors, and researchers around the world.

Subscription box with Kickstarter integration

Dungeon In A Box is a WordPress and WooCommerce setup using WooCommerce Subscriptions as the base for the subscriptions system. The project has multiple custom features including custom renewal synchronization of subscriptions with different billing intervals, a custom theme, and separation of billing with shipping orders. A standout feature was a Kickstarter pledge manager that lets users select which product they want after pledging on a complex Kickstarter campaign, with dynamic pricing as customers add more items beyond their pledge.

Internal tools for Mike's Bikes

Bikebuilder is a completely custom web-based application built for Mike's Bikes, the largest bicycle retailer in California. It's part of the internal tools I help develop, maintain, and upgrade for them. The application is used in the stores to track the assembly of sold bikes, from unboxing to a fully built bike ready for the customer, including time spent and items used along the way. This has allowed the company to streamline a process that was previously done on paper and tedious Excel spreadsheets, a perfect example of using technology to solve real operational problems efficiently.

Global business network for Scottish Enterprise

GlobalScot is the global business network run by Scottish Enterprise, connecting Scottish companies with a network of international business experts and advisers. Built in collaboration with Ember Technology, a digital agency specializing in public-sector transformation, I worked across both the frontend and backend of the Laravel platform, developing features for the network's members and the team running it.

Sustainable travel service for Essex

TravelEssex is a sustainable travel and journey-planning service for Essex, helping people find greener ways to get around the county. Built in collaboration with Ember Technology, a digital agency specializing in public-sector transformation, I worked full-stack across the Laravel application, building both the public-facing site and the backend behind it.

Freelancer marketplace

QwkHire is a Laravel-based web application with a growing user base. The platform connects clients and contractors, similar to Upwork but with some differences. My role was to maintain existing code and lead the development process with a small team as the main developer in charge of building and testing new features. I helped build the platform from the ground up; it has various API integrations and, in some parts, complex business logic, including an escrow system and a powerful admin panel to manage everything. The app uses Laravel queues to deal with heavy processes such as email and payment requests.

Business process optimization platform

Modpart was bootstrapped using Laravel Spark. Completely developed in-house, the application features a powerful search over a large set of data, with multiple manual and automated filters that enhance the user experience and save a lot of time over tedious manual processes. The web application uses Vue.js for the front end and ElasticSearch for the search process along with Laravel Scout and a package driver for ES.

Online shop for a luxury jewelry brand

Alessa is a refined high-end website developed for a company based in Guatemala, the US, and Dubai, a jewelry store with pieces priced up to $50,000 USD. The role involved building new features (mostly backend) and customizing the online shop to meet the company's luxury standards. Work included a smart product filter, a powerful admin panel, email systems, login logic, newsletter systems, Instagram integration, and a custom CRM solution to streamline processes for store personnel.

Print your Instagram photos

Yoli is a web application that helps you get your Instagram photos printed and delivered to your front door inside a custom frame. The work covered all backend logic including user management, Instagram API integration, frame backend modeling, and the full payment processing flow.

Photography event website

Guatephoto is a website that promotes a major photography event in Guatemala City, where the most important photographers in the region compete across different categories. The work focused on backend development, specifically the payment and participant application logic, a simple yet charming website for a prestigious cultural event.

Portfolio site for an artist

Ben-Iesau is a custom website created for artist Cheri Ben-Iesau. With this site the artist can customize almost everything thanks to a CMS built from scratch. The Laravel-based CMS was created with the freelance artist's life in mind, it allows customization of each section of the site, pushing blog posts to all social platforms in one click (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest), importing events from Facebook, and a menu builder. Images are automatically resized on upload for optimal loading, and the CMS features a simple CRM tailored for artists.

Event photo delivery tool for photographers

Pictureman is a system that enables photographers to upload event photos on-site and send them to customers either through the website or a mobile application, customers receive a nicely formatted email with their photos. The system automatically builds a public event page with the photographer's chosen showcase photos and integrates a social media blog post system. Work included image upload and optimization logic, social media integrations, and a significant portion of the admin CRUD.

Artists marketplace

Whereyart is a Laravel-based application featuring artists based in New Orleans and other cities. The work involved migrating the application from Laravel 4.1 to Laravel 5.6, fixing numerous bugs within a complex CRUD package, and implementing Laravel queues to optimize many application processes, resulting in significant speed improvements. Additional work included a homepage banner creator, an improved join process, and load-more optimizations across the site.

Custom ecommerce for building materials

IQ Builder Supply is a WordPress setup based on WooCommerce and various premium extensions. The site allows users to order custom-size BiFolding doors, various Iron Doors, Tiles, and Custom Cabinets, a complete online tool that lets the owners expand their business online seamlessly.

Online marketplace for artists

Nostra Gallery is a fresh online store for artists mainly located in Guatemala. The work involved setting up WordPress and WooCommerce to bootstrap this clean, curated art store, making it easy for artists to list and sell their work online.

Custom site for a gym chain

Sporta.gt is a custom static website created in 2016 for one of the biggest gym chains in Guatemala. What's interesting is that no CSS framework was used, rather custom CSS, most based on flexbox. The website has an integrated system with Aweber for automatic customer follow-up depending on their current state (Active, Prospect, Inactive).
